Dang! This game was great. It was addicting once you get going. I liked the music and all the different upgrades i could do as i progressed in the game
Hey I realy liked the atmosphere ans gameplay :) For some reason I couldn't use the archer. The dog worked, is it normal for the archer, do I have to do something special? ^^
Hello,
Thanks ! Ranged minions are like a tower you should place somewhere except path. If you have enough soul you should be able to place it, I don`t know maybe some bug appear but it`s not happened before, can you please try that again ? :D
Sure I try it again! :D
Yeahhh you were right xD I tried to build them on the path ^^'
NecroDefence brings a fresh atmosphere to the tower defense genre with its dark, mystical theme and intuitive gameplay. The combination of strategic placement and increasingly challenging waves keeps the game engaging. I especially enjoyed the art style and the eerie soundtrack, which fits the undead theme perfectly. Some balancing could make the later stages more rewarding, but overall, it's a solid indie game with a lot of potential. Looking forward to future updates!
Thanks a lot ! :D
Incredible game!!, i thought the difficulty well balanced, and the sound design its very good too, we really did very similiar games haha.
Only thing that i would say, its the pathfinding of the meele troops, sometimes they ignore the nearest enemy and got hits for free
Yes, melee minions are quite dumm :D.
We`ll make adjustment about that in future.
In early waves Hound is really overpowered in my opinion but then it's completely useless without any upgrade :D
This is only the second tower defence game I have ever played, so not expert enough to be a critic. But as a gamer who enjoys the thrill of the combat, I enjoyed the pacing of the game, the troops were simple to grasp, and the game is beginner-friendly in its design and gameplay. Overall, it was fun to play!
Thanks a lot ! :D
I am terrible at tower defense!, but this was a fun one! I think a vast improvement though would be to have the "click to damage" on a press and hold? rather than having to click all the time. And the damage could happen once every second or so, and that could also be improved with souls, faster = less damage but more hits, slower = more damage but fewer hits etc. but clicking all the time was my only down point.
Solid entry, I had fun :)
Thank you for playing our game !
We want to have some Idle/Clicker game vibe that's why we made damage and heal depend on clicking but like you said could be better we`ll try it ! Thank you for your advice :D
In your future plan make upgrades more detail and valuable. In game jam version they are really basic stuff :D
Totally get that! My finger just got tired haha :P
Very cool! Artwork, gameplay, audio, all great. Took me a bit to realise what the numbers in brackets were for (keys), so maybe they could have been in a little box or something visual like that. I died without realising I was about to, I assume my tower got destroyed? Maybe that could have been more obvious. But honestly, can't really fault too much since it was all quite good. Nice job!
Thank you for playing our game ! :D
Our idea was adding a tutorial first, but we couldn't do that in time. That`s why some feedbacks like that present in UI but hard to see. :D
Loved the idea, i tried on the past with my friends doing a tower defense and honestly it was hard xD. This game is well done, liked the gameplay. Nice!! ^^
Thank you for playing our game ! :D
no problem! can you give a try to my game? :)
The roguelike and tower-defense genres have been brought together in a fantastic way. It offers potentially very open-ended gameplay, and I really liked how well it fits the theme. With more attack/enemy types, it could take on a whole new dimension.
Absolutely sick as hell vibe and music! I love the colour palette.
The controls overview at the botton bar is so small to the point of not being readable.
I might just have made a mistake, but the ranged units did not seem to get placed with right click.
Hi,
Thanks for your comment.
Range Skeletons should be placed on the gridded places side, not on the path where the enemies come from. There are 2 different textures indicating this. You can try again if there is another error we can take note :D
I tried it again and I see what the issue for me was. It says Left Click will cancel trying to place a Ranged Unit, and Right Click places the ranged Unit.
It was the opposite for me, which is what would seem intuitive. As in, place the unit with Left Click.
Ah, okay ! We also realized its should be opposite like you said, we can change it in next update :D
